Nominated Person(s) Form

A Nominated Person is an individual you authorise to communicate with Montrogue Limited on your behalf in relation to this engagement. This may be you, or a third party — such as a spouse, business partner, or professional adviser.

Important: The Nominated Person does not assume your legal obligations. You remain personally responsible for the accuracy of all returns, payment of tax liabilities, and compliance with the terms of your Engagement Bundle. Any change to the Nominated Person must be notified in writing within 14 days.

Identity Verification of Nominated Person

Where the Nominated Person is not the Client and has not previously been verified by Montrogue Limited, we are required to confirm their identity before acting on their instructions. Please provide one document from each column below.

Montrogue Limited reserves the right to carry out electronic verification in lieu of, or in addition to, documentary verification. Please send physical copies of selected documents to our office.

Scope of Authority

The Nominated Person IS authorised to:

  • Give instructions to Montrogue Limited in relation to the services described in the Engagement Bundle
  • Receive advice, correspondence, draft returns, and other work outputs
  • Liaise with us on day-to-day operational matters relating to the engagement

The Nominated Person is NOT authorised to:

  • Approve or sign legal documents on behalf of the Client unless separately authorised by power of attorney or other written authority
  • Amend the scope of the engagement without the Client's written consent
  • Bind the Client to additional fees or liabilities beyond the terms of the Engagement Bundle

Montrogue Limited is entitled to rely on instructions from the Nominated Person as if they came directly from the Client, provided they fall within the scope set out above. We accept no liability for acting on instructions from the Nominated Person that were not in fact authorised by the Client.

Client Declaration

The Client confirms that they have communicated the scope of authority and responsibilities to the Nominated Person and that the Nominated Person has agreed to act accordingly.

Nominated Person Declaration

I, the Nominated Person, confirm that I accept the authority described above and understand its scope and limitations. I agree to act in the Client's best interests in all communications with Montrogue Limited and to keep the Client informed of all material matters arising from this engagement. I understand that I do not assume the Client's legal obligations under this Engagement Bundle.
